CHAPTER ELEVEN

Vicki called to cancel, so our plan fell through. Apparently, something came up with her secret boyfriend whom she refused to tell me about and I didn't have time to question her about it. So we decided to catch up another time.

Since I was essentially jobless, I spent my time going around Facebook and Instagram, watching amusing Instagram videos to pass the time, but I ended up dozing off in the process.

The soft knocking on the door jolted me out of my sleep. "Roy, may I enter?" From the other side of the door, Alexander's voice could be heard.

" Come in," I said, sitting up on my bed and the door opened with Alexander walking in.

"Hey, little man."

"Hi Roy," he said, climbing onto the bed to sit beside me.

“ How was school today?"

"It was fine, we had outdoor activities today, so we went to the park," he said excitedly.

" Really, did you enjoy yourself?" I said in a cheerful voice and he nods.

“ I had a lot of fun. I love school. "

" I also did like going to school but I doubt not
