Chapter Sixty Three

Ethan heard Saira suck in a sharp breath and he clenched his fist. He could tell Anne to go to hell, but his wife's life was on the line. It'd be a different story if he was in front of Anne right now. He'd probably not even give her time to explain herself before he shot her in the head.

"Annulment?" He hoped he'd not heard her correctly.

"Yes, my love. Annul your marriage and I'll let her go, but only after I've seen proof of the annulment." She said.

"That'd take months." He protested.

"Aren't you one of the richest men in the world? You can pay someone off to get it done for you within a couple of days." She sounded nonchalant.

Ethan rubbed his forehead. He was starting to feel a headache coming on and it was the one thing he hated. Headache caused by stress.

"I want to see my wife. Text me the address."

"How about I send you a picture instead?" Anne countered. "Who's to say you won't call the police on your way here? I mean I won't be surprised if they're with you, right now."
