Nathan Michaelis had been swallowing several times to ease the discomfort he felt in his chest. He felt like dying, but at the same time, he’s still alive and well. The recurring vibration of his phone shook him from his taxing activity.
“Hello?” Nathan answered, ignoring the caller’s ID.

Instantly Nathan frowned. This voice at the end of the line sounded alright recognizable—a deep and smooth voice of Carson Dimitri, the person that he loathes yet he couldn’t seem to escape him. Carson’s voice would always bring a mysterious sense of peace whenever he heard them, yet this time, that one words leaving his mouth added more to the excruciating pain he’s experiencing. What is wrong with him?
