Chp 9 - Want To know

Tanya quickly opened the door forgetting her almost naked state. She ran to him, fluttering her hands around his face.

"Oh, my God! Oh my, I am so sorry. I wasn't expecting you there. I. Oh God, your head!" She patted his face and his head.

The pain that exploded in Ayodele's head made him remember the cartoonish stars that rotate around Tom's head in Tom and Jerry's cartoon movies that his cousin loved so much. He closed his eyes to steady himself as he gingerly touched the side of his head to check if blood was coming out or not. The way he felt at the moment made it seem like the head had split into two.

"Damn," he thought when he removed his hand from his head and he saw a little blood on his hand. Nothing to worry about though but he couldn't help but be amused at the way Tanya's eyes widened when she saw the red moisture on his hand.

"Oh, my. You are bleeding" she exclaimed.
