Chapter 13 – A perfect moment ruined

Maeve was dazed by Gabriel’s utterance. It reminded her of how he had doted on her before, bringing back sweet memories which made her feel special.

Gabriel would always defend and stand by her. This was a confirmation of the last part of her death when he said that he couldn’t live without her. She smiled at the thought of the sparks she felt when she helped him with the wristwatch, wondering if he felt it too.
