Chapter 9

Kimberly:

Anna was staying over for a few days, they both needed more time to bond and get closer to each other.

I had not slept a wink since I went to bed after dinner yesterday, whenever I tried to sleep, I ended up having a nightmare, I was scared to death and normally I would have gone to talk to Godfather, have warm milk with him and he’d later tuck me back to bed but I couldn’t do that anymore, there was now an invisible border and I had to take note of it.

I lay on my bed turning and tossing, yawning and scratching my eyes, the rays of the sun shone directly in my room, I had barely settled in my new room and the attack from the other day had triggered my nightmares, I needed to see my doctor.

I got up from my bed, made the bed, and began to get ready for the day. Nessa was coming over and I had convinced her to accompany me to see the doctor. I didn’t want to get worse, I needed my sleep and if I delayed, I might get worse.
