Chapter 14

Sofia's Point of View

"Thanks for carrying that for me," I said to Ethan as we made it up to my room.

"It was nothing. I have some work I have to do with my dad right now, but I will meet you here later to take you to dinner so we can have that talk. How does seven sound?" Ethan asked

"It sounds good," I replied

"Great, I will see you later," Ethan said

"See you," I replied, and Ethan walked away.

Ethan's Point of View

I was so upset when we went to Sofia's apartment. I already knew where she lived because I used to follow her when she rode the bus home from school. She would either go to the diner where she worked or to the apartment complex. It was on the poor side of town and in a bad neighborhood. There were prostitutes and drug dealers that stood outside of her apartment building. I hated that she lived there, and I couldn't stand the thought of something happening to her.
