74. Wake up call

Hendry was beyond relieved when Brody gave him a quick call and told him what happened before lunch. He listened while his future husband blurted about how his dad was divorcing his mom and was coming to the wedding tomorrow. The call didn't last long since Brody was going to have a lunch meeting with his family and talk more about their future without his vindictive mother. Hendry let Brody get back to his family so he could get back to his work.

Hendry had a few contract proposals to approve and some internal documents to sign until it was time for him to meet up with his dad and Harvey. His mom might not be as strongly opinionated as Brody's mom, but she was keeping it to herself and that was making everything worse for herself. Hendry's dad had been coming less and less to the office because he was taking care of his mom. Harvey checked up on them, though he reported back with nothing good.

"You know it's not your fault, right?" Harvey asked as he walked into Hendry's office. Hi
