"Why is a girl carrying heavy boxes?.." Zain asked while walking toward her and took the boxes from her and walked inside the cafe, directly to the kitchen.
"Why did you return so early..." Ayat asked, taking a glimpse of her wristwatch.
"He got an emergency call and needed to go somewhere but it was fun...there were so many high-class people and..." Ayesha said, making her eyes round in surprise.
"Go change..." Ayat said, cutting her. Ayesha made faces and left muttering something. Meanwhile, Zain came, picked the remaining two boxes and walked out. Ayat walked with him and looked at his serious face.
"Badge is looking nice..."Ayat said, smiling at the shining badge on his broad chest. Zain silently entered inside the kitchen, leaving Ayat in the cafe hall then came out after a while and left without saying a word.
Ayat sighed a little, went and sat on her stool behind the counter. Arham gazed at her face, she was in deep thought. He knocked at the counter, making her return back to the real world.
"Sorry to disturb your precious thoughts but can I get something to drink," Arham said with one raised eyebrow.
"Off course you helped me so much..latte?." Ayat said while getting up and started the coffee machine. Arham smiled at her little taunt and nodded his head.
"You like to do latte art?...." Arham asked, staring at her face while making art. Ayat raised her eyes to look at him.
"Hmm... it's like I am an artist," she said, giggling at her thought and moved cup toward him then made one cup for herself and settled back on the stool.
"Now tell me what do you want from me?.." Ayat asked, placing her face on her palm, resting her elbow on the counter.
"I found out you and sana went to the same college and you two didn't get along very well...why?" Arham asked
"She doesn't like me...why are you asking?" Ayat asked, shrugging her shoulders.
"She broke up with me because of another man..." Arham said, taking a sip of his coffee. Ayat blinked at him for half a minute.
"oh!...sorry to hear that," Ayat said, clearing her throat.
"Don't be because she is going to come back...and for that, I need your help."
"My help?..what sort of help?" Ayat asked, drinking coffee.
"Sana likes attention, she can't tolerate if someone gives more attention to someone else...she will not like if she finds out his ex-boyfriend is with her competitor, She gets jealous very easily. this much is enough to make her return."
"Wait a minute, so you are saying you want me to pretend to be your girlfriend to make your ex-girlfriend jealous and make her return...right?.." Ayat asked, taking another sip and Arham nodded his head once.
"And why should I do?..." Ayat asked, putting the cup down.
"Don't you want to go back at her for the trouble she had caused... she will be very pissed," Arham said, putting his mobile on the counter and played the video of her and sana verbal fight. Ayat stopped the video.
"Are you a lawyer by profession?..." Ayat asked, looking back at him.
"why?" Arham asked in a confused tone, not getting her point.
"You are very good at manipulating...for one second I thought to agree. if you are not then you should try becoming one. you will be very successful," Ayat said, shaking her head. Arham stared at her with annoyed eyes.
"Why are you looking at me like this?...it was a compliment,"
"It didn't feel like a compliment..." Arham said through greeted teeth. Ayat pressed her lips and looked down.
"Sis! your mobile is ringing...." Ayesha came there and gave her a mobile. Ayat started at 'unknown number' multiple calls then put it back.
"Hello!..." Ayesha waved her hand at Arham then tried to go toward the kitchen but Ayat held her hand.
"Where are you going?.."
"Kitchen...I am hungry," Ayesha said, putting her hand on her stomach.
"Did you forget, you are not allowed to enter inside the kitchen," Ayat said with raised eyebrows?
"Fine...please go yourself and get me something to eat, I am dying because of hunger," Ayesha said in an irritated tone, went and sat beside Arham. Ayat went inside the kitchen.
"She is so mean...I know I caused an accident once but does that mean there will be an accident every time I enter the kitchen." Ayesha said, crossing arms over chest and looked at Arham with an angry pout.
"She is stubborn...isn't she?" Arham asked and Ayesha nodded her head vigorously. Her gaze fell on his mobile and She quickly picked.
"What is this?...." Ayesha asked and played the video.
"Who made this video and Why do you have this video?" Ayesha asked, turning her head toward Arham.
"He is also a fan of sana," Ayat said, coming there and placed a small plate of club sandwiches in front of Ayesha and one in front of Arham.
"This for helping me," Ayat said when Arham looked at her with quizzical eyes.
"You are also a fan of her...Me too." Ayesha said in an excited tone, picked a sandwich and took one large bite.
"But let me tell you one secret...she doesn't look like her pictures on I*******m at all," Ayesha said with a filled mouth. Arham laughed a little at that.
"Don't speak while eating," Ayat scolded her but she ignored her, picked Ayat's mobile.
"And look at her morning posts...I mean when I wake up in the morning, my hair is like a birds nest, my mascara is all smudged and if one day by mistake I don't remove makeup before sleeping. I get pimples but look at her...she is awesome" Ayesha said, showing Arham, sana's posts.
"Is she your real sister?"Arham asked in an amused tone, smiling at her continuous blabber.
"No, she is adopted...I tried to stop mom, dad from adopting her but they didn't listen" Ayat said in a calm tone.
"WHAT!!!!!!!..ADOPTED? WHO ME?." Ayesha asked, dropping mobile in shock. Ayat nodded her head.
"You...You are lying. I am not adopted... She is lying, right? "Ayesha asked, pointing at Ayat while looking at Arham.
"Why will your parents adopt a girl again...if they wanted to adopt someone, they would have adopted a boy. She is lying." Arham said, assuring Ayesha. Ayat narrowed her eyes at arham for proving her wrong. Arham passes a teasing smirk to her.
"He is right...I have watched 'Kabhi Kushi OR Kabhi gum' in that elder son was adopted" Ayesha said in a wet voice.
"Hmm...then she was left in front of her doorstep," Ayat said in the same tone.
"WHAT I WAS LEFT AT DOORSTEP...WHO LEFT ME THERE?" Ayesha asked, keeping both hands on her chest. Ayat shrugged her shoulders without changing her calm expressions. Arham stared at Ayesha as he was watching world 8th wonder.
"I am not going to talk with you," Ayesha said with an 'about to cry' face and left from there. Arham started to laugh with Ayat small chuckles.
Meanwhile, Ayat got a call and she kept mobile on-ear after attending it. Her expressions changed to serious.

I need to go somewhere and it's not easy to find a taxi in this area" Ayat said, sighing a little. Arham nodded his head and they walked out from there. Arham opened the door for Ayat and she looked at him "Are you a gentleman or just because you need something from me therefore you are doing this?.." Ayat asked in a teasing voice. "Be grateful you are getting to see my this side... not everyone gets to see," Arham whisper in a deep tone, moving his face close to her. Evening"umm!... I am sure, I messaged you that theme is western, " Arham said, looking at Ayat from top to bottom. She was wearing a long black frock with chuddi-dar shalwar and net dupatta."Yes, You did, but I didn't like the theme... therefore I got dressed the way I like, " Ayat said, pressing her to laugh."Ayat, it's a theme party..." Moments went by while staring at each other like that, before releasing their closeness. Ayat looked

Arham shook his head at her expression and looked back at Ayat, who stopped in front of a wall which was displaying pictures.Arham glanced at Ayesha, then walked back to Ayat.
“What was the need to behave like this? “ Dua questioned her sanity, pouring and mixing milk into her coffee. “What will he think about me?... Crazy weird girl, right? “ Dua jerked her head, picked her mug and walked back to her room and wide opened window. “Did it rain last night? “ Dua whispered and bent down to take a close look at the two parallel roads with a green line between them, then saw a big water tank, sprinkling water on roads. She sighed, moved back and glanced at Arham Apartment and find him peering at her. He waves at her. Dua blinked to get hold of herself and waved back, reluctantly. Arham took out his mobile from his pant pocket and signed her to pick up. Dua looked around for her mobile, then put the cup on the window stool and went back into the room. “Are you still upset? “ Arham asked the moment she attended the call. “No, I am sorry for getting angry for no reason, “ Dua said, mentally cursing herself. “That was quick, “ Arham chuckled. “I don’t mind apol
