I had spent the last few days in the computer room trying to find anything to help me decipher the writing on the scroll I had found and successfully avoiding Aro. I couldn't find anything to put me even one step closer to understanding why my face was on an ancient document. Discovering the secrets of the ancient scroll seemed much more important than finding a way to break my fate bond with the playboy prince.

TylerI had been running through the woods to tire my wolf when I had scented fear in the air. I followed the scent to find a woman I recognized as Aro's mate being attacked. My wolf lunged at her attacker, knocking him to the ground. The short skirmish that followed had resulted in me being stabbed in the side with silver and him taking to the air to escape.

He was adamant that a hybrid was to blame, but none of my archivists had ever mentioned coming across information about hybrids as they catalogued and scanned our ancient texts into the computer system. None of what he was telling us made any sense.
