Chapter Seven: Another encounter of Fate?

Who the hell was L? What did that even mean, I had a faint idea that it was the blue eyed stranger who probably dropped me that left the note here, but it didn't make any sense. What was the blue orchid for? And what was the meaning of L. a name? Luther? Lark? Lionell? These are the names that could suit him but they didn't feel quite right.

Amanda cleared her throat, dragging not only my eyes but my attention to her. “ What is that about? And who is L? Spill before I betray you as you did”

I sighed, exhausted If only she knew I had no answers to her questions. “ I'm just like you, I am as confused as you are” I said wearily.

She studied me for a while and I knew she was deciding whether or not to believe me. Finally she said, “You know what? Lets just drop this, there has been enough drama to last a while in this family anyway”

I nodded my head while looking away wistfully, trying to make sense of things and trying to understand what was really going on. Things were getting way more complicated than I could handle and it made me really nervous.

“ What are you doing saturday afternoon?” It was Gwen who spoke, her light feather steps didn't inform us of her entrance into the room and now I wondered just how much of the conversation she had heard.

Looking at her, her face was not very stoic and I could immediately tell that she wasn't aware so I smiled a little. “ I don't have any plans yet, why?”

Amanda and I exchanged looks before she said “ I might have to see Rein, but he is unsure”

We were bth thinking the same thing, se wanted to plan a sisters bonding time for us. It was in her ritual every now and then to surprise us with random plans where we all try to spend moments together but mainly what it consists of is Amanda and I discussing about boys and her and gisselle taljing about God knows what.

“ Perfect!” Gwen clapped her hands “ We can spend the day together,” She beamed at us before literally sashaying down the hull.

Horrified, I stared at Amanda with bulging eyes, only to meet the same expression written across her features.

We turned from each other and walked down te hall with drooping shoulders, the news of spending time with Giselle did that to you.

Saturday came without warning, as we got dressed to spend the day at the theatre watching a love musical that both Gwen and Giselle loved, and from the hummings of Amanda I suspected she loved it too, It was only going to be exhausting for me.

Giselle and Gwen had slept over so right now they were chattering and cooking breakfast in the kitchen, father was probably somewhere with his eyes tucked into a newspaper drinking his morning coffee.

Amanda and I got dressed, I wore a fitted jeans trouser and a pink cashmere sweater which paired nicely with my pink converse, I pulled my long brown hair into a high pony tail and ended the look with double coat of mascara, which made me look like a movie heroine, a look I always loved. The only good thing about this was that it would distract my mind from the thoughts of blue eyes and that letter. I had spent the most of my days obsessing and trying to figure out a solution that actually made sense, as usual I came up with nothing. It was very tiring and I needed this change of scenario to make things better in my head.

By the time we got seated for breakfast and actually ate the delicious set of pancakes and bacon, I was feeling a lot better. What did they say about a good meal again?

I was feeling great as we marched out the door and headed for the theater.

We got popcorn immediately we could and hurried to make to the best spot at the back, the musical was just about to begin when we got here so we walked in hastily and got seated. By the time the curtain was drawn and the show officially begun, I stifled a yawn. I could already tell how boring it was going to be and I kept munching on my popcorn to keep awake.

The female lead began to sing in a loud soprano voice that made my eyes flutter shut unconsciously, after about five minutes of sleep I was tapped aggressively by a scowling Gwen

“ What are you doing? Are you asleep?” She was fuming and I only smiled sheepishly before muttering “ I have to use the toilet, I will be right back.”

She shook her head and watched me walk away, I walked to the toilet while rubbing my eyes and yawning lousily. It was only natural when I hit something hard, something very solid. With my eyes still closed from the yawn I felt up the hard wall, only that it wasn't a wall, but a body in a suit, I could tell because I had twisted the lapel into my fingers. I gasped. His cologne was rich and very intoxicating, my wolf moaned quietly and I felt very foolish.

Finally done with my yawn, I wrestled my hand from the entanglement and looked up to see who I had practically assaulted. It was a blue suit, my vision was at levels with his chest because he was so incredibly tall, I dragged my eyes further up and took in his very chisled jaw, his pink full lips, his high pointed nose and …… I let out a mild shriek Right there before me was the most beautiful blue eyes, a pair I would remember anywhere shining and looking down at me with the most fascinated look dancing in his orbs mixed with something else I couldn't pinpoint. Realization washed over me like fresh rain once more, I blinked and then, I gasped.
