Alpha Ethan’s (POV)

I sat down next to Renee’s bed to await the doctor, less than minute later he arrived with a syringe of medicine.

“This medicine will induce her heat; it might take some time for it to take affect due to her current condition. Her burns will probably start to heal first and after that hopefully she will start to regain consciousness, although with the pain medication, I am also administering she most likely won’t be clear headed. Her eyes will be the last thing to heal as they take the most time.”

“I understand” I answered

“A couple minutes after I inject the medication, I will remove her IV so she doesn’t tear it out during the heat.”

I watched as he pushed the medicine into the IV tube, he waited a few minutes as he said he would and pulled the IV from her arm.
