"I checked that pup out already." I pointed to a brown-haired baby wrapped in a pink swaddle.

"Thank you, Miss; he seems better now." The baby's mother, Rachel, said as she bounced him.

I smiled, wiping the sweat from my face before standing to my feet. I had been sitting for about three hours.

I hadn't had much rest because many pregnant women frequented the pack house this day.

Aside from being married to the Beta, Damien Cord, I was part of the medics in the pack, the Phi. Might I add I held the highest rank in the Phi.
