[Zephyr’s POV]

“Are you sure you can tear a barrier of hell with your bare hands, Zeph?” Archer yelled, shielding us from the firing and arrows of the Wenos army with his mana barrier. “Well, I shouldn’t question it at a time like this, but are you in your right mind?”

“Oh, come on, Archer. Just shut up for a second. He is trying his best,” mother said, helping him cover.

Noah led the troop. They were using everything they had to break Archer and mother’s barrier.

The barrier had already formed cracks.

“Damn it!” I cursed under my breaths. “Why isn’t this working now? It worked back then.”

I felt the fluidity of the barrier around Wenos palace against my palm, but I could neither absorb it nor tear it like I did earlier with Devon’s shield.

This shield was thickened and stronger. Yet I thought I had understood how my mana void worked. I thought it absorbed the mana from the magical war artifacts.

But maybe I was wrong.

“Fuck!” I kicked the barrier. “What now!”
