In pain, I looked over my shoulders to see the familiar face of the Senior healer of our kingdom who Nessa told me was not around to attend to the boy yesterday.

"Let her go and I will attend to the boy," She said when she stepped into the room.

I winced again as the Gamma female withdrew her claws from my skin and the Old Woman headed to the bedside.

"Move away," she shewed the three healers and they gave way for her.

She examined the boy within seconds and turned towards us.

"What is the problem? The boy seems to be recovering and his heart beat is returning to normal. Whatever she gave him is obviously working." She informs the parents.

I peek my head aside to see that his skin is fast becoming normal and a calmness washes over me. Thank goodness he made it.

"But his body was all hot and flush and he was losing his breath a few minutes ago." One of the healers chipped in.
