Chapter Forty-Nine

Cat had not accepted any calls from Alex after the initial one, nor had she attempted to reach out to him. It was likely his aim was to warn her against disclosing her suspicion of him being her father. As though she would disclose such information to anyone. That is, if he truly was her father.
