Chapter 31: Lily

After Lorelai left Eventide, Aolis wasn’t able to speak to me daily like we had been. I had tried calling him the night I spoke to Anastasia, but he didn’t answer. I left him a message letting him know I loved him and that we needed to talk.

Samlael was an excellent fighter and an even better teacher. He was patient and kind with me, but he didn’t go easy on me.
