As the days wentby, I found myself growing closer to Alex once again. We had a great working relationship, and it felt like no time had passed at all. It was all too easy to forget about the past and get lost in our work together.

But as time went on, I also couldn't ignore the feelings that were growing inside of me. The chemistry between us was undeniable, and I found myself falling for him all over again.

I knew it was wrong, that he was married, but I couldn't help it. The memories of our past together and the undeniable connection we had were too strong.

I tried my best to suppress my feelings, but it was getting harder and harder with each passing day. And I could sense that Alex was feeling the same way too.

One day, as we were wrapping up our work for the day, he turned to me with a serious expression.

"Britany, we need to talk," he said. "I know you feel it too - the chemistry between us. But I'm married, and I can't hurt my wife like that."
