CHAPTER 7 "PATRICK RAMOS"

"GET MARRIED, give in to your father’s demands. He’s old, and maybe he wants to experience what it feels like to be a grandpa," Patrick, his best friend, advised.

Patrick, his classmate since kindergarten, was more than just a close friend; he was Joaquin's pillar of strength and adviser in all matters, especially when it came to women. He considered Patrick more of a brother than a friend, as they were both only children. Patrick had been there through all of Joaquin's relationships, providing guidance and support.

"It seems like what you’re saying is so easy. How about you? When is your plan with Tanya?"

With that question, Patrick just shrugged his shoulders before taking his cup of coffee and drinking.

As Joaquin said earlier, he chose to go to the office since he had nothing to do at home. He also had to admit that his father’s repeated reminders about marriage were the reason why he decided to avoid him.

Joaquin sighed sadly at the thought.
