"Are you still angry at me?" Flynn asked with a whine. "I said sorry a thousand times already!"
I proceeded to ignore him as I enjoyed my lunch in the cafeteria. Maryanne watched from across of the table and shook her head in sympathy. She gave up on trying to intervene on behalf of him a few minutes ago.
Today was pretty hot and I felt that the cafeteria was the coolest part of the entire building. It was quite packed by the other workers as they enjoyed their lunches as well while I wanted to show Flynn that I still didn't appreciate the gift that he gave to my "admirer".
Flynn pouted. "Listen, I'm sorry. If it got you in so much trouble, I'll do anything to make it up to you."

I curled my toes into the warm sand as I looked around discreetly. Andre and I were waiting for his friends to arrive and I was a little relieved since my heart was anything but ready.
