CAMDEN “Hello?” I answered the phone, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. The clock said it was 2:00 P.M., but I had only fallen asleep a few hours ago. Another trail on Jadelynn went cold. THAD Leaving that town was the hardest thing that I ever had to do in my entire life. I felt like I was abandoning her, but I knew that it was imperative that I returned home now that they had been able to establish a connection with my girl. JADELYNN It had been a month since Camden started meeting up with me here. He helped me learn to manipulate things very quickly. It was easy to use explosive anger, but it was harder to use focused intention. I needed to be able to do both, so he was patiently helping me. It was effortless to manipulate small things such as clothing. That was nice because I was tired of always being stuck in whatever ridiculous dress I was forced to wear.
