You’re Fired!’

I keep hearing those words over and over again in my mind. I still can’t believe I got fired for that little accident. I mean I didn’t mean to spill the hot coffee on the lap of an important client.

So, now I am back at job-hunting, and I have only enough in the bank for my half of the electricity bill. So, my auto insurance was canceled on me. Yet, I need to keep driving to different job interviews. The only thing is, I never get callbacks.

Today, I was running a little late for another job interview. I noticed an older style in pristine condition, a red mustang beside me in the other lane. What I noticed most is the driver. A handsome man with dark hair in a business suit. When he looked over at me, I smiled at him. He gave me a slight nod and turned his blinker on to enter my lane. I purposely slowed my car just enough to let him go in front of me. My good deed for the day. I smile thinking of his handsome face. If only I hadn't been late,
