Chapter 19: " The little genius."

The headquarters of De Vries was bustling and louder than usual. The company was thrown into an uproar when the news of Ruben’s six year old son participating in the competition leaked. The employees had varying opinions about the matter but as they watched Ruben and Luuk walk hand in hand to the conference room where the competition was going to take place, they held their lips tight. No one dared to question Ruben.

The competition was made open and food was provided for the participants. The conference room being a large well aerated and furnished hall could accommodate over 500 people without being choked up.

Ruben sat at the very front seat, upstairs on the spectators side. It was an elevated platform that had the clearest view of the stage.

Luuk walked into the conference room separately from Ruben because the competitors needed to state their needs which will be provided by the organizers of the event.
