“Sure, I don’t mind. It’s a public place, after all.”

“Great.” She muttered and then breathed out with relief and sat down on the bench next to his. “So, I haven’t seen you around before, what year are you?”

He turned his body so he was facing her. “I’m a senior.”

She widened her eyes. “Oh are you a new student?”

“Yes I just joined today.” He stared into her eyes and then his looks lingered around her face. Enkeli gulped and tried to look anywhere else, she couldn’t handle the way he was looking at her. What was with him? Why was he staring at her like that. It made her uncomfortable but not in an unsafe way, more like, she could feel his intensity. She could tell that this was no ordinary man. It was a feeling that she couldn’t explain well but her gut has rarely ever been wrong.

“Is that so? Welcome to the school! Which class are you in? I can show you where it is if you’re having some trouble.”

“It’s class 1A. I went there but the teacher showed me out.”
