37. Jealous Ex-lover

Tallulah's POV

My eyes rolled back as I gulped down a little sip of beer from the cup I was holding. The room around me had begun to spin and my speech had begun to slur. God! I hate how alcohol intolerant my body is. Just two cups and I was already losing control of my body.

“Kathie!!” I called out, searching round the crowded room but she was nowhere to be found.

She had given me some clothes for the party even though I told her it was not necessary since I already had my jeans and shirt. Now I was wearing a black skirt which was a bit skimpy and maybe too tight. I kept clenching its fringes and pulling it downwards to cover my exposed thighs.

My palms pressed against the wall which I leaned against, afraid that I might fall if I took another step. She even had me wear ridiculous high heels that made me fumble with every attempt I made to stride forward.
