Chapter twenty five

On the run, being hunted

I arranged everything for travel and dialed my father. When he answered I told him I was being hunted by a corpse seeker sent by Destiny. That information pissed him off and I shuddered at the energy he was giving off, being able to sense it through the phone freaked me out. He told me that he would prepare his home and stock it well for us.

"Normally no one can get onto my private island without me taking them but I'm not sure about the corpse seekers, since technically they are already dead they can travel anywhere like a spirit," he told me sadly.

"It's okay dad, I think we'll be safer there than anywhere else, not to mention that the time will go by quicker and perhaps Destiny will grow bored and call off her hit," I said simply and he huffed.

"That bitch
