Chapter 7

Sitting alone on the couch in the living room, Jennifer noticed a car coming to a halt at the entrance of the Pack house. A woman wearing red high heels emerged from the vehicle and entered.

Recognizing her as Raymond’s aunt and Alpha Mark’s wife, Jennifer stood up. The woman, dressed in a well-fitted, elegant red gown, exuded an air of dignity. Uncertain of how to properly greet or introduce herself, Jennifer watched the woman pause, remove her sunglasses, and carefully scrutinize her appearance. Fortunately, Jennifer had dressed well that day.

With a soft tone and a smile, Jennifer introduced herself, saying, “Hello, I’m Jennifer.” Though she felt the inclination to bow, she remembered that as she wasn’t the Luna, it wouldn’t be appropriate except for the Alpha and Luna themselves.

The woman stared at her for a moment, then broke out into a bright smile. “Oh, hello, dear. Mark told me about you. Such a nice kid you are!” She said and came to hug Jennifer.

Jennifer was stunned by h
