"Are you sure, Angel?"
Angel seemed to be standing in front of a large mirror while carrying a black dress, he heard a heavy sigh from his lips. "I don't know, but I can't back down anymore?"
"Why not?" Bella was seen lying relaxed on the bed with Angel's favorite plain white sheets.
"I will look even more like a loser if I refuse that strange young man's invitation," Angel replied as he landed his buttocks roughly on the edge of the bed.
"Ah yes, but he is very handsome." Bella immediately moved to sit closer to Angel. "You know him where?"
"I only met him on the campus grounds when he asked for Science class."
"Angel Matthew..."
Angel looked up with a frown when she heard a strange tone from her best friend. "What?"
"Are you sure you want to release your virginity to that strange young man?" Bella asked while sticking her index finger in Angel's open arm. "Are you ready, Angel?"
"Cut your bullshit, Bell." Angel shook off the girl's hand roughly, then stomped his foot as he stood up. "I'm still going out tonight, and I'm going to show that bastard Calvin Klein that I can be a wild, seductive girl."
Angel immediately took off her clothes without hesitation, leaving only the triangular cloth that covered her virgin core. She started wearing the long black dress that she had embraced earlier, the simple dress had an open back and was only decorated with fragile straps that were intertwined with one another.
"Wow... you already look tempting, Miss Matthew," Bella praised with widened eyes behind the big glasses she was wearing.
"Thanks for the compliment Bella, but now you better help me to style this hair," Angel replied with a sharp look.
"All right, my dear. Now sit here." Bella patted the side of the bed in front of her.
Angel also obeyed, he returned to land his buttocks with his eyes looking straight at the large mirror in front.
"Which do you think is the weirdo boy or Calvin Klein more challenging?" Bella asked with her hands moving deftly to tie some of Angel's hair back.
Instantly Angel's brain replayed the memory of her meeting with the pale-skinned young man. It was undeniable that the young man had a perfect facial structure, but he sensed that there was another quite frightening aura behind that good looks.
"You didn't hear me, Angel?"
"He smells so good," Angel answered with a dreamy look, "and so cold."
"What do you mean by very fragrant and very cold?" Bella frowned deeply.
Angel blinked rapidly to regain her focus. "I don't know, but I can smell a very fragrant aroma coming out of his body, it's like I've never smelled any man's perfume like that. One more thing, when I touch him… he feels so cold."
"Could he be a vampire?" Bella asked suddenly.
"What?!" screamed Angel with a quick reflex. "You are crazy?!"
Bella laughed crazily. "I'm just kidding, Angel... why are you taking it seriously?"
Angel was just about to return his reply when suddenly the door to his room opened, showing a woman who was none other than his mother.
"Angel, a young man has come to pick you up."
Instantly Angel's body stiffened, suddenly feeling unreasonable nervousness. Even though before that he didn't seem to care who he was going to make love with tonight, because his goal was only to prove himself.
"Why didn't you ever tell mommy that you have a close friend as handsome as that, Angel?" asked Mrs. Matthew.
"She's just an ordinary friend, Mom," Angel replied nonchalantly, then grabbed her clutch and kissed her mother's cheek briefly. "I'm leaving, and don't wait for me to come home!"
Angel half ran down the steps of his house, kept walking until he reached the terrace of the house. He froze for a moment, staring at the pale-skinned young man who was also wearing an all-black suit like himself. "So handsome," Angel muttered to herself.
"Ready to go?"
That question made Angel head nod subconsciously. He stepped behind the young man, again able to smell the scent that was so fresh when the wind was blowing.
However, he suddenly fell silent when his eyes saw a luxury car parked right in the yard of his house. "This... your car?"
"Come in."
"Are you renting it?"
"Does it matter?"
Angel snorted loudly, starting to dislike the arrogant attitude of the strange young man. He landed his buttocks roughly on the car seat, waiting for the young man to sit beside him.
"Eric Cullen."
"Huh what?" Angel looked up with a frown.
"Erick Cullen is my name. I thought you should know, because I love hearing girls scream my name in bed, and you will be no exception."
Instantly Angel's body froze, reflexively folding her lips tightly when she felt a tingle of heat just because of that sentence. He chose to look away from the car window, not wanting Erick to see his blushing face.
"Why do you want to take off your virginity?"
The question reflexively made Angel turn around again. "Because virgin status in America is a disgrace."
"Stupid."
"What?!" screamed Angel with narrowed eyes, especially when she saw the mocking smile on the young man's lips. "You insulted me?!"
"We have arrived."
"Are you kidding?" Angel smiled crookedly as if she didn't believe it, but she was taken aback when she found that the car they were traveling in had indeed been parked in front of the party venue.
"Gosh... how could that be?" Angel's face still looked disbelieving, because she felt that she had only been out of her house for a few minutes.
"Get out."
Again, Angel was confused again when suddenly Erick opened the car door in just one blink of an eye.
"Are you going to keep daydreaming?"
Angel blinked and shook her head quickly, trying to get rid of all kinds of suspicions that were currently shouting at each other inside her head. He immediately got out of the car, looking resigned when one of Erick's hands began to hug his waist possessively.
They entered the party venue, immediately greeted with loud music and dazzling twinkling lights. Angel, who had never visited a nightclub, immediately felt uncomfortable with all kinds of things around her at this time.
"You don't like it?"
"Just a little uncomfortable," Angel replied with a grimace on her face.
"Then we'll get out of here."
"Where to-" Suddenly Angel's sentence was paused when suddenly her lips were covered by the young man's lips. Angel reflexively closed her eyes, enjoying Erick's cold lips which began to crush every inch of hers.
Everything felt strange, there was a sweet taste that seemed to really like from the man's lips. Even Angel didn't want to let go, and even returned to Erick's kiss, no less passionate. However, the young man suddenly pulled his lips away, making Angel feel as if she had lost.
"Ready for tonight?"
The question tickled Angel's ear, making her eyes open again. He wanted to answer, but what was around him made him freeze, because apparently they were already in an unfamiliar room with a sinister atmosphere.
"Where are we? How come?"
"It's my room."
"You-" Angel's breath was choked with round eyes, her lips were numb when she suddenly felt extreme fear. "Who exactly are you?!" "Erick Cullen, didn't I say that before, honey?" Erick smiled crookedly, one hand stretched out to play with the girl's long strands of hair. Suddenly Angel's brain replayed Megan's words about "vampire" and she began to believe it. "You- aren't you human?" Erick raised an eyebrow. "Then what do you think I am?" "Vampire." "Vampire?" Erick's lips returned to a crooked smile, then slowly showed his neat rows of teeth. "Did you see the pair of fangs in my teeth?" Angel shook her head quickly. "No, but in all vampire movies there aren't always fangs especially when they're not thirsty. And tonight everything was weird." Erick paused, focusing his eyes on the gray irises in front of him. He didn't want Angel to be afraid of him even more, so he tried to influence the girl's mind. However, everything was difficult, he really couldn't change what was in An
"Eenggg...." Angel moaned softly with her eyes still tightly closed. He intended to get up from his sleeping position on his side, but suddenly felt a stinging pain that woke him up instantly. "Oh my god...." Angel grimaced with his eyes slowly opened, feeling discomfort in his groin at the movement. "why-" Angel was unable to continue the sentence as her consciousness gradually returned, her brain started playing all kinds of erotic memories she had experienced last night. Angel's eyes suddenly widened, and her face started to turn red. "I-" Angel's gaze descended on her body which was still wrapped in the blanket, and she realized that there was no other cloth decorating it. "Gosh... it actually happened." Angel let out a long sigh, her eyes darting to the ceiling of the room. Slowly his lips curved into a crooked smile. "So I'm totally an American girl now? Ridiculous." In the midst of mixed feelings, Angel was startled by her own cell phone ringing. He turned quickly towards
"Vampire king?" Angel's body froze with all kinds of fantasies in her mind. He still hoped that all this was just a dream from a hidden imagination in his subconscious. He still hoped that he would wake up soon and return to his normal life as usual. However, a cold touch that greeted his skin brought him back to reality. There was still a pale-skinned woman currently serving him. "You are very beautiful, Your Majesty... you are very worthy to be our queen." Angel returned to focusing her gaze on a mirror in front, showing herself already wearing an ancient ballgown like the queen of the previous kingdom. "What should I do now?" he muttered to himself, but it was clear enough for the maid to hear. "You should have breakfast, Your Majesty..." "Oh my god..." Angel cupped her face with her hands, feeling so desperate when she didn't know what to do. "I will bring your breakfast here, or you can join breakfast in the dining room," explained Anne politely. "Leave me alone," said An
"I can't marry you." "You don't have a choice," said Erick with his gaze fixed on the swollen face in front of him, his thumb still stroking Angel's cheek which was wet with tears. "You are destined to be my partner... like it or not." "This isn't a movie, Erick!" Angel snapped with an annoyed face, but it couldn't be denied that his eyes were confused. "I'm human and you're a vampire, how can we possibly get married?!" "You already believe in me as a vampire, why don't you believe that we can be together?" Angel was stunned. Erick was right, he had just subconsciously believed in the existence of vampires in this life, and not just cosplay from a film. "This world is full of mysteries, darling... many things beyond reason happen." "But... why does it have to be me?" Angel asked quietly, it felt like her brain was too tired to digest everything. "Because you are not fully human." Again Angel's face looked shocked, his eyes and mouth were wide open again. "What do you mean?" "
"This is your wedding dress, Your Majesty." Angel stared in confusion at the beautiful dress in front of her, because she didn't have the slightest intention of wearing it. Right now his brain was more interested in something else, a plan that would determine his life and death. "Tomorrow morning I will do your make-up. I'm sure you will be a very beautiful bride," said Anne, who was currently standing behind her employer's wedding dress. "Aren't you going to go get groceries?" Angel lured while leaning against the head of the bed. "That's right, Your Majesty. I will leave later and be back before sunrise. So, I will still be able to do your make-up," explained Anne. Angel nodded slowly. "Do all the servants here recognize you, Anne?" "Of course not, Your Majesty," answered Anne with a sweet smile. "In this palace there are hundreds of female servants, and it is impossible for us to know all of them. "Ah, I see," replied Angel, hiding a sly grin, then neutralized his expression
Buuukkk.... "Aaarrkkhh...." Angel screamed when he felt his body being thrown, then crashed onto the ground. "Damn... why did I have to jump?" Angel stood up quickly, patting his buttocks and arms that were exposed to the ground. However, in the next second, he returned to focusing on his surroundings, looking around to find out where he was at the moment. "Jeez... where should I go now?" Angel muttered with wide eyes. Throughout his vision, there were only rows of tall, towering trees. Slowly, fear began to creep in, hugging him tightly like the cold night wind. Angel turned around, hoping to find light from the lamps of a residential area, but there was only dim moonlight. He closed his eyes for a moment, trying to shake off all kinds of fears that were teasing him. "There's nothing you need to be afraid of, Angel... you've even made love with a vampire, so what do you need to be afraid of anymore?" Angel snorted loudly as he opened his eyes again. He clenched his fists in fro
"Eeenngg..." Angel seemed to be writhing with his eyes still closed, spreading his arms wide. He felt stiff in every muscle in his body, he felt so tired and it was hard just to move. However, the urge of consciousness inevitably forced his eyelids to open. Angel was silent for a moment with his eyes blinking slowly, staring intently at the ceiling of the room with the familiar butterfly-shaped crystal lamp. Suddenly his tiredness disappeared when he remembered what happened to him last night. "Good grief!" Angel immediately moved to sit up, ignoring the throbbing pain in his head. His eyes wandered to every corner of the room he was currently occupying, and slowly a feeling of relief spread across his chest. "This is... my room?!" Angel shouted with sparkling eyes, his lips forming a wide smile. "Oh my God! I'm really home!" Angel cheered happily, got up and jumped up and down on the bed. "Yeeeaa... I'm home... home... I'm home!" "Angel?!" Suddenly the bedroom door opened, reve
"Don't bother me," Angel said to himself, slowly his fear began to evaporate. "I won't bother you, as long as you don't stay away from me." This voice sounded so clear to Angel, even just by looking at the owner of the voice. "I... don't want anything to do with you anymore," said Angel just through his gaze. "We have to talk." "We've talked." "Directly." Angel could hear the low growl of Erick's last sentence, but he didn't seem to care, choosing to walk towards the chair he usually sat on. "Hey, don't you want to say hi?" Bella teased with a flirtatious look at Angel. "Greetings who?" Angel asked pretending not to understand. "Come on..." Bella sat beside her friend, pulling Angel's face to where Erick was. "Aren't you on holiday together these past two weeks?" "Bella stop it." Angel brushed off Bella's hand which was on the side of her face. "I don't want to discuss anything about it." "Why? Does he really suck in bed?!" "Shhh...." Angel immediately covered Bella's mout
