A New Start

Far away, a girl was laughing happily with a handsome man. They sat under the light of a bright full moon, in the private garden of the Argantra family residence.

“Wow, didn't you think yesterday was pretty funny?” the boy chuckled while the girl in his arms smiled in response. “Your mother actually thought that we were… doing that.”

Asura giggled in amusement. She hit her lover's chest playfully. “You almost gave her a heart attack, Aven!”

Aven shrugged. “Well, not entirely my fault either, you know. Our families constantly thought we would do that just because our love seemed too passionate. After all, isn't our wedding just around the corner? What are they worried about, I wonder? It makes no difference even if we do it sooner than we should.”

“Aven!” Asura exclaimed while hitting the man's arm.

“I know, I know!” he grabbed Asura's hand still chuckling. “I'm just saying, nothing more. You know how this country is still a little… old-fashioned.”

“But that's better, don't you think?
