Raymond’s POV

Upon my return from gathering herbs, I didn’t find Diana in her room, so I went to Clara.

“Clara, where is Diana? She’s not in her room.” I was worried because she was still weak and needed rest.

“Alpha Marcus had called her in grounds.” Her voice was low.

“Why? What happened? Is everything alright? What is she doing there? You know she’s still weak.” I asked a lot of questions at once before going towards the door.

“Alpha Marcus had ordered her to run ten rounds around the ground.”

I halted on my steps and turned towards her.

“What? Are you serious?”

She nodded.

“No, it can’t be. How can Alpha? You know she’s, Argh.” I got frustrated and ran to the ground without listening or saying anything more.

‘How can he do this?’ Jasper was also annoyed.

‘We’ll talk to him later. First, we need to see her.’ I ran there and found her on her knees. She was panting badly. Her heart rate had increased, and she was drenched in sweat. My heart ached.
