Chapter 12: Watchful Eyes

It was easier than I thought getting around the city without anyone noticing me. I was a dark figure hidden in the shadows out of watchful eyes. No one had ever noticed me as I blended in with my surroundings and made my way through the city towards the border of parkland. I knew of the arrogant Alpha and also his reputation.

However, he wasn't a match for the skills I possessed.

I was more than just a wolf.

I was one of the top trackers the inner circle held, and when they got wind, this particular Alpha had a mate. They sent me to investigate.

Ruthless was something that described who I was. I killed quietly, and I left behind no trace.
