Matt glares at Geoff across the table as Luca whispers to him. I glance at Geoff who looks completely unbothered by the exchange. “Nova , can I have a word with you outside while they discuss?” I nod and Geoff and I leave the kitchen. When we finish our coffees we say our goodbyes and I head back to the town hall. It’s amazing how much better I feel after a catch up with Leah , I honestly love that girl and I’m beyond happy things have worked out so well for her. The drive back to the pack house is full of tension. My skin tingles being so close to her and the smell of her excitement surrounds us like perfume.
