Luca POV

Novas shift takes awhile. Much longer than a wolf her age should take. I feel bad for her and wish there was something I could do to help her but unfortunately she needs to keep shifting to get over the worst of it.

Lucifer waits patiently for her shift to finish and I sit in the back of control maybe one day they will be able to work together like we do I muse “no one works as well as we do” Lucifer answers. I shrug. When Novas shift is finished I stare on in shock. She’s golden like a retriever kind of but she looks stunning in the moon light.

Nala stands up and howls at the moon. I can feel the vibrations of happiness coming off her in waves. “Not surprising”Lucifer growls “she’s barely allowed to shift”. She darts off into the forest and Lucifer trots to her side. We will let her stretch and explore before the training starts. “Agreed” Lucifer reply’s easily keeping up with her. She hits the lake and stops taking time to cool down and lap up the water. Lucife
