Isabella's POV "Christian.." I mouthed wide-eyed and he chuckled. "Oh, sorry." he said casually, raising his hands in surrender. Chloe couldn't understand what was going on, and I was glad that she didn't ask anything. "Isabella, it hurts but try to bear it." Christian stated and placed my foot on his lap again and rubbed it before twisting it to the other side and I yelped in pain, gripping the blanket on the either side. "Fuc-" "Uh-uh.. We get it." Christian quickly cut me off, slowly placing my leg down. "Now you feel a bit better, don't you?" I frowned looking at my leg but yes, I could feel it wasn't hurting that much like earlier. "Yeah, I guess." I muttered and he nodded, standing up. "Thankyou so much.." "No problem." he stated, waving his hand dismissively. Then Christian looked at Hayden and nodded at the door, signaling him to leave and Hayden nodded curtly before exiting. Christian turned to Chloe, ruffling her hair. "Pebbles, we'll be going to your favourite amu
Christian's POV Today was Saturday. Weekends were the only time I could get some break from my busy life. Eventhough I'd be discussing about the upcoming projects through the conference calls, it didn't have as much pressure as weekdays. After a long time, I decided to workout as I wanted to look more muscular like I looked in my mid-twenties. I knew that being a father of a 5-year-old kid, I shouldn't say like this but I couldn't help as everyone in the world would freak out to stand against me but that nosey girl, Isabella White who happened to be one of favourite persons of Chloe, driving me insane despite the fact that she was a stranger to me two months ago. I didn't know why but I just couldn't control my emotions when it came to her. And except Chloe I wouldn't do first-aids to anyone by myself. Even once in a time when my mother asked me to apply a balm to her forehead, I refused. But why on earth did I do that to Isabella? Why? As I lifted the dumbbells I tried to focus
Isabella's POV When Christian asked me like this, I was completely dumbfounded. Though it wasn't hard to pick; Because I could afford to buy more than one new outfit but ten minutes with the Christian Roberts whose appointment was being paid even for one minute, I already knew what I'd choose. I mean, a golden opportunity would never come twice so when he gave me an offer like this, I ain't a fool to turn it down. "Err.. It's really difficult to choose but I have so many crop-tops like this, so I'll go with the ten minutes with you." I told and he gave me a triumphant smirk, nodding his head. "Good. Come on and have a tea." he said, grabbing the mini kettle and pouring it into two cups. "T-Tea?" I asked hesitantly and he nodded, extending a cup to me. "Don't worry. It made by the cook. I found you were lying that day when I drank the remainder of the tea from the flask." he said causally and I took the cup, smiling sheepishly. "Uh, actually I was-" "I know. You didn't want to h
Isabella's POV "Uh.. but why is she staying with you?" I asked eventhough I already knew the answer. "Because of you." he whispered and I furrowed my brows at him. "Because of me? What did I do?" "You're the one who told me not to hurt myself right?" he asked and I nodded slowly. "Yeah, but what does that have to do with this?" "And.. I said I'd use drugs then, remember?" he tilted his head slightly and I recalled the incident before nodding my head again. "That's the point!" "Huh?" I frowned, looking at the brown-haired girl. "Wait.. Is she a drug dealer?" "No. Sex is my drugs." he stated nonchalantly and I looked up at him wide-eyed and slowly his trademark smirk has appeared on his face as he adjusted his coat, walking back to the main hall. I wanted to stop him and ask a proper explanation but what he said was, made me freeze to the spot. I know I sound selfish but maybe.. I should have let him hurt himself. She was sitting closer to Christian and placing her hand on his
Isabella's POV "W-What?" he exclaimed, staring at me wide-eyed while I was trying to put these words back into my mouth. Damn Bella! "Uhh, well.. I mean, that girl-" "She's the brand ambassador of my company." he cut me off. "We're discussing about the business matters now." he stated calmly but his face was still holding the shock expression. What!? didn't he say that she came here to spend a night with him? "What's going on here?" the oh-so-brand ambassador asked in confusion and we both averted our gazes towards her. "Mia, Give us a minute. We'll be back soon." Christian said hurriedly and before she could reply anything, he rushed outside dragging me along and closed the door behind him. When we realized we were out of range, he stepped back letting me go. "What you said earlier was a lie right?" Christian asked cautiously and I looked at him, furrowing my brows. First of all, he didn't believe my confession and second of all, this was a sign of rejection. He chuckled hum
Christian's POV "Hmm." she muttered, nodding her head and I could see her eyes were filled with tears as she dashed out. I sighed loudly, gulping down the wine and stared at the sky which was completely dark and there was a full moon in the centre which was beautifying the whole night sky. If the dark night was my heart, then Isabella would be that flawless moon. Why the hell did she fall for a dickhead like me? Though.. sometimes.. I wish I were normal so I could live a normal life. She didn't deserve me; I mean, she didn't deserve any of the pain or hurtness or the stupid outburst of mine. I would never ever treat her right, no matter how hard I tried to. She was wrong; Completely wrong. I ain't perfect for her. I wasn't perfect at all. She was a goddess and I was a devil. There was no way in hell we could make a couple together and create a Goddamned fairytale. I knew I had feelings for her too. I knew I had dreamed about her a lot of times in the past two months that I coul
Isabella's POV Dad loves you too. What?!? I stared at her wide-eyed, wondering how on earth did she know to talk these things. "You shouldn't talk like this, Chloe. Promise me!" I said sternly and she sighed. "I promise.. but nowadays daddy is talking more about you than mommy, that's why I just.. guessed." Chloe shrugged and I had a hard time believing it. It's not true right? Right? "Dolly, if you need anything ask Mrs. Green okay? She would take care of you." I smiled, changing the subject and she frowned, hugging my legs. "Don't leave Bells." Chloe whined and I closed my eyes, sighing exaggeratedly. "I have no choice, Dolly." with that I rushed outside, leaving Chloe all alone.----- When I reached my home after a quite long travel, I still couldn't feel anything near to happiness. All I could think about was Christian! Christian! And CHRISTIAN! The Frickin Billionaire! The Frickin Adamant Billionaire! Oh God! I miss him so much! Now I realized that I didn't really l
Isabella's POV "So.. are we cool now?" he whispered, caressing my cheek with his thumb and I hesitantly nodded. "So would you come home back? Because if you deny, Chloe will help me to kidnap you." I chuckled, nodding again. "No need of that. I'll come, but.." "But?" "But don't say anything to my mom. You're my boss and I'm the babysitter of your daughter; that's it, okay?" I said and his forehead creased in confusion. "Why is that?" "My mom has chosen a guy for me and she was still feeling upset because of my breakup with Trevor and I don't think she'd accept our relationship if we tell her now." I explained. "But don't you think things get complicated if we postpone the announcement? What if she starts to do the wedding stuffs?" he asked and I shook my head. "You don't need to worry about that. I'll handle it. Just please don't say anything to her." I muttered stressing every word and he chuckled. "As you wish." he told and I gave him a soft smile. "So shall we go in?" Chri
