The Timebomb

OFTENTIMES, people in your surroundings will judge you without even knowing what you've been through and why you've decided to perform your actions. Nevertheless, people will base their judgment purely on their perception which has nothing to do with how you deal with your life. Venus chuckles at the thought as she reveals how she survived her unplanned death of hers.

The steaming cup of coffee welcomed Venus' scent of smell. She's standing near the window of their quarters as her fellow comrades stare at her with their eyes widened. Some of them had their mouth barely open, conceivably, they could not sink in what Venus had revealed to them. It was indeed an unimaginable event.

"I may not be existing now if it wasn't because of you," Venus said while looking at Alexis. The other officer shrug and sighs, "I've just done what's on the plan."

"Well, but then again, if you were a minute late, perhaps, I may be in the tombstone for real, innit?"
