Duties

From that day onwards, Clover and I became the classroom cleaners despite all the mocking and harsh words we got from people we didn't let it get to us and just Continued with our duties.

After the closing hour when I and Clover were ready to start cleaning but then we realized that clover and her friends were still in class refusing to leave.

" Sasha, Lily, Rocky, can you guys leave the class for a moment, please? " I asked Politely.

" Why would we? " Sasha replied in an arrogant tone as always.

" Don't go out if you don't want to but you can't blame us for sweeping all the dust on you. " Clover interrupted in an angry tone.

" Clover! " I warned.

" Can we please settle this matter amicably, guys? " I asked and when they all have calmed down, I continued.

" Why don't you want to leave the class yet, Sasha? " I asked directing my question to Sasha as she Happened to be the gang leader.

" We've got some chatting to do. " She replied.

" Really? "

" Yes, of course. " She replied.

" Okay, but can you please leave the class for a short while so we can clean up after which you can come back in to continue your Chatting, Please? "

" No, why would we listen to you? "

" Will you guys do the cleaning then? " Clover asked and Surprisingly she was calm.

" You two are such a pain in the ass! " Sasha replied Angrily as she and her friends stood up from their seats and walked out of the class stumping their feet.

" Wow! That was easy! " Clover Exclaimed after they left.

" Yes, it was. " I replied as we started our duties.

When we're done with the cleaning about Ten minutes later, We closed all the windows and doors after which we headed to our class teacher staffroom where we would drop the Key.

" I hope that the cleaning was done Well. " She said.

" Yes, Ma. " Clover and I replied.

" Are you Sure? " She inquired.

" Yes, Ma. " We replied again.

" Alright, you can head home now, don't worry I have informed your parents that you'll be coming home a little later. " She told us.

" Okay, Ma. " We replied as we left the Staffroom.

As we descended the stairs, there was complete Silence as Clover and I were in our thoughts.

" Why was the Class teacher asking us those Questions? " Clover asked, breaking the Silence.

" Well, it's quite obvious why She did. " I said.

" Really? Well, I don't think So because I don't know why. " Clover Replied.

" Oh? , Anyways the reason she was asking is probably that she didn't expect that we girls from Rich homes will know how to Clean. " I replied.

" What kind of reasoning is that? Who doesn't know how to do Simple cleaning? " Clover asked in a surprised tone.

" You are probably saying this because you were trained on how to but you know, not everyone was trained on how to do it, so they wouldn't find it easy to do. " I said.

" Oh! , I get your point now, Mia. " She replied as realization dawned on her.

" Yes. " I replied as we continued Walking.

" Wait, Mia, I think that I have to get some Snacks for my Siblings at the canteen. "

" Oh! Let's go get some then. "

" Thank you for your understanding. "

" It's alright, you are Welcome. " I replied as we walked towards the Canteen.

Walked in and Was Surprised to find Clover and her friends there, they Were Sitting around a Plastic Table with different Snacks and Drinks, They were busy gisting and Chatting.

" I thought they have gone home. " Clover Whispered.

" Same here, but turns out that they haven't. " I replied.

" Hmmmn. "

Clover Bought Several donuts and Meat pies.

" Aren't you going to get drinks for them? " I asked when I realized that she was only buying Snacks.

" Oh! , I almost forgot. " Clover Replied.

We then walked towards the drinks Section and got Some milk teas.

As we were walking out of the Canteen Sasha and her friends called out to us.

" Hey Mia, Clover. " They called and we turned back.

" Yes? " I replied in a Questioning tone.

" Don't be like that, Come and Join us, You don't have to Worry as the bill will be on us. " Sasha replied in a nice tone which got me amused as This was the first time she was being nice.

" Thank you for the invite but we have to head home now. " I replied Sharply.

" Oh? ? Or are you just trying to avoid Being seen with us, The Average Students? "

" Of course not, Why would I think like that? " I asked.

" Isn't it obvious the reason? "

" Don't start now, Sasha. " I replied and after contemplating for a While I Continued.

" I think it's high time we've settled our differences. " I replied.

" Mia! " Clover called out Surprised.

" I know what I am doing. " I assured Clover and she finally sighed in Relief.

" Oh? How do you think We can do that? " Sasha asked.

" Let's start by joining you guys for a chat with drinks and snacks. " I said and immediately I could see the Shocked look on their faces which they quickly masked up.

" Do you think that this is a good idea, Mia? " Clover asked to which I nodded.

We both Took our Seats next to Sasha and her friends around the table.

I was very well aware that it wasn't logical for me and Clover to be Seating with them as We never got along but I still did as I was aware that they were planning something, as I had my Suspicion and it was indeed Proven About fifteen minutes later When Three Young Men of about Nineteen years walked into the Canteen.
