Bram question

Savira's eyes widened when she saw a man coming out of there. Her hands clenched at the memory of Dion's treatment of her before.

"What do you want?" asked Savira flatly.

"Guests not welcome?" quipped Dion while staring at Savira without blinking.

This was the first time Dion saw Savira without a head covering. White skin, a sharp nose, and a long neck made Dion not blink. Savira wears the headscarf only in the hospital, because of work demands. She felt that she was not fit to wear the headscarf even though she knew that wearing the headscarf was obligatory.

"You are not a guest, why would you come in?"

"You don't know how to honor guests like your religion teaches you?" replied Dion while continuing to look at the face of the woman in front of him.

Dion deliberately brought up religious teachings so that Savira would allow him to enter. The words that had just been spoken were barely audible to him. So far he only claims to be Muslim but he has never carried out his obligations like other Muslims.

"What a look!" Savira snapped.

Dion was nervous, there was no way he could admit he was fascinated by Savira's beauty. That's called dropping self-esteem.

"Damn, she's really pretty, no wonder the old fart is crazy about her. With her face, she wants to control Daddy's treasure. You sneaky woman!" Without answering Dion walked towards the house.

In front of the door, he turned around and looked at Savira who was still frozen.

"You like pink, I'll buy it for you tomorrow," said Dion and immediately went inside.

Frowning her forehead, Savira didn't understand what Dion meant.

"You strange man, what did he want to come here for? Want to threaten me again? But I'm sorry I'm not afraid!" muttered Savira while staring at Dion until he disappeared behind the wall.

The increasingly heavy drops of rain woke Savira up. He quickly picked up the clothes that were still stuck in the clothesline. His hands stopped when he saw her pink bra.

"Shit, he saw mine!"

Savira immediately put clothes in his room. Then quickly walked to the living room, where Dion and Nurdin had a one-on-one conversation.

"It would be terrible if Dion said that in front of you," muttered Savira.

Savira knows very well how his father is. The 57-year-old man is always concerned with money. Even willing to sacrifice his daughter for his own sake.

"The guest is made to drink, Ra!"

Savira had not had a chance to sit down yet, but Nurdin had gently shooed him away.

"I'm thirsty, Vira," Dion said then grinned at Savira.

"Damn, that man must have influenced you," said Savira to herself.

"Hurry Ra!" Nurdin ordered because his daughter was still silent.

Savira exhaled roughly, then walked into the kitchen. Dion's arrival was a nightmare for the thirty-year-old woman. He was sure there was an ulterior motive for the man to set foot in his ugly house.

"Whose guest, Ra?" asked Wati who had just come out of the bathroom.

"Purnawan's son, Mom," she answered while stirring the sugar so that it blended with the tea.

"Why is he here? To threaten you again? Isn't his father dead? Then why did he come again?" asked Wati.

Savira did tell all of her love stories, including the story with Purnawan. That made him know that Dion rated Savira.

"Vira doesn't know, Mom," lied Savira.

Savira was still wondering what Dion meant at the hospital the other day. She still couldn't believe that Purnawan asked Dion to marry her.

"Please drink it, Mr. Dion," said Savira while placing a cup of tea on the table.

Then she sat beside Nurdin right opposite Dion. She deliberately said sir, because his social status was indeed much higher than that of her family. This was proof he valued someone of higher standing.

"Drink, son Dion," said Nurdin with a friendly smile.

Savira glared at the word Son coming out of Nurdin's mouth. His suspicions are growing on his father and Dion.

"What are you doing here?" asked Savira flatly. She looked into the eyes of the man who was now sitting, crossing his legs.

Dion himself smiled triumphantly. When Savira was busy picking up the mushrooms and making drinks, he directly proposed to Savira to be his wife. Of course with the lure of a large dowry.

Which father is not happy if his daughter gets such a large dowry. That's what Nurdin feels too. Her dream of having a rich daughter-in-law is right in front of her eyes, she doesn't care if it will torment Savira. Both heart and body.

"I came here to propose to you, Savira," Dion said quietly. He holds the emotions that are already in the crown.

Seeing Nurdin's attitude made Dion sure that Savira had the same character, money-making eyes, and no shame. He still holds fast that the fruit will not fall far from the tree. Even though Nurdin and Savira have very different attitudes, even the opposite.

"A slut seems to be happy to accept my proposal," thought Dion confidently.

Savira crossed her arms over her chest and then stared intently at the arrogant man sitting right in front of her.

"What kind of storm is there for a famous businessman's son to suddenly come to propose to a cheap woman like me?" asked Savira, more precisely a satire.

In Savira's memory, every insulting word that came out of Dion's mouth was still clearly recorded. Then today he came to propose. Savira can't read.

"I just want to obey Daddy's last mandate to marry you, am I wrong?"

Savira pursed her lips, as long as she knew Purnawan, Dion never once seemed close to her father. The man often hurt Purnawan with inappropriate words coming out of a child's mouth.

"But sorry I can't marry a man like you," said Savira and then left the living room. She chose to lock herself in the room.

Dion clenched his fists on the table, his shoulders heaving up and down holding back the anger that was about to explode. Savira's rejection was an insult to him.

"Please forgive my daughter, Dion. I promise I will force Vira to marry you. Please don't cancel the fifty million." Nurdin put his hands together while asking for Dion's understanding.

"Three days, I'll give you three days. If within three days Savira rejects my proposal, I'll make sure you won't receive the money I promised."

Dion walked away with growing hatred. He thought it would be easy to marry Savira. However, his application was rejected outright.

"Watch out, Savira, I'll make sure you suffer after you become my wife. I'll make your life hell," Dion said as he hit the car's handlebar.

"How's Dion?" asked Regina when Dion had just set foot in the luxurious house left by Purnawan.

Since Purnawan's death, Regina has been living with Dion. She was like the mistress of the house. Orders this and that to his heart's content. He had forgotten that the house was no longer his. He's just hitching a ride.

"Don't ask, Ma. I'm dizzy! Our plan failed. He refused my proposal."

"What! You arrogant woman!"

"Does she know about the inheritance? So she refused my proposal."

"I don't know, I don't know either. What's clear is that we only have three weeks left."

The two of them returned silently busy thinking of ways to get Savira to marry Dion.

"That's bad, this could be late," said Savira, glancing at the watch in her left hand.

"Mom, Dad let's go!" Savira shouted.

The woman who was wearing a typical white nurse's uniform immediately started the motorbike engine. Slowly the iron horse walked out of Nurdin's yard.

Several times Savira glanced at the round object coiled in her hand. She made sure not to be even one minute late. But unfortunately this time her hopes will not come true. The clock hands showed 07.02. She was two minutes late

"Too late, Ra?" asked Bram when he met Savira in the special parking lot for hospital employees.

"I'll go first, Doc," said Savira then ran away from Bram who was still standing beside the car.

"Savira, wait!" Bram's scream made Savira's steps stop.

Savira was forced to stop and turn around.

"What's wrong, Doc?" she asked annoyed.

"Is there an agenda after work?"

Savira raised two eyebrows at Bram's question. While working with Bram, this was the first time he asked this.

"No, Doc."

"When finished wait for me in the parking lot, I have something to talk about."

Today the hospital is filled with patients, whether in the polyclinic or the emergency room. None of the nurses and doctors could sit still. Everyone is busy with their respective tasks.

The clock is already showing the number two. The morning shift nurses are already getting ready to go home. Yes, shift changes occur at two o'clock in the afternoon. But not with Savira, being a nurse in the emergency room meant that her return schedule was often delayed because of patients who came suddenly at the shift change.

As happened today, a mother came in holding her child who kept crying.

"Sleep here, Mother!" Savira ordered.

"Chocolate candy goes into the nose, Miss. I'm afraid to take it out. He always screams when my hand gets closer," explained the mother.

Savira slowly took out the chocolate candy using tweezers. Luckily the candy didn't go too deep. So it doesn't take long to get it out.

The clock hands showed 3:30 p.m. Savira immediately walked towards the parking lot.

"Why is it taking so long, Ra?"

Savira jumped in surprise at Bram's call. She had forgotten that she had an appointment with the doctor. The many patients made her unable to remember if she had an appointment.

"Sorry, Doc."

"Come in, I have something to talk about!"

"Just bring a motorbike, Doc," said Savira.

"Come on, Ra. Just a minute."

Savira was forced to get into Bram's car. The four-wheeled vehicle slowly drove away from the hospital area.

"What did the doctor want to talk about?"

"Do you have a replacement for Purnawan, Ra?"
