Chapter 8: Crime to love

Three days after the conversation Kathleen had with Barbara, Barbara didn't give her feedback nor did she contract the agency.

And the party is just two days from then, she is busy attending to one of their customers when her phone ping.

"Your dress is ready ma Barbara."

That was the message, she looked at it and then blinked.

"What dress? When did I... Shit! I forgot. Barbara, what have you done?" She forgot about the whole ball, if not that she had gotten that message, she would still not remember. I will have to fix this with what Kathleen suggests. She tries to find it. "Where is it? Shit! Barbara, you deleted it."

she realized she deleted it, as soon as she got off the phone with Kathleen. "Shit! I will just call her."

At the first ring, Kathleen takes the call. "Kathleen, do you still have that ad?"

"I thought you were not interested."

"Oh please, let me have it."

"Didn't you read that, they don't place orders two days before the event?"

"Shit!" She curses under her breath
