Reyna

Kayla seemed different. Each time I stared at her, there was this sadness that was glued to her but she fixed a smile on her face for a long time. Long enough to know that we were standing up close but I didn't know what to feel.

"How are you, Reyna?" She asked but I narrowed my eyes on her. The day was already going terribly but I didn't want to be the epitome of someone's mockery.

"Been…fine." For some reason Asher stood close to me and watched the both of us as the silence only grew heavier. "I'm going up to my room. That's if it's still there waiting for me. I'm so glad to be back." I forced a smile that hurt my cheeks. I was moving close to the hallway when I heard her voice.

"I'm happy that you were found honestly. I could come by later if you need someone to talk to." I Shook my head and made my way to my room. It was so strange that she was being so nice all of a sudden. I do not think the imagery I have of her in my head is going to fade. I was still very wary about
