Chapter 78— Proposal

"Why are you doing this to me, Aria?" I drawled as I stared at my best friend who had her face fully into her phone, "Aria?"

"What?" She jerked her face up suddenly and I spotted the crimson blush on her face and my brows knitted up, "what the hell is going on, huh?"

"What?" She rolled her eyes and quickly switched off her phone screen which heightened my suspicion. It's been three weeks since we went to visit Sophia.

Her mum gave me a mouthful which made Xander visibly angry and when the woman didn't stop talking, Xander had to show her my wounds that her daughter inflicted on me.
