Bride of vampire lord

Star yawned and pulled the glass door to enter inside the cafe. She wasn't able to sleep last night and she had a busy day in book shop.

She stopped seeing their owner talking to Max. She moved closer to listen what they were talking about but he turned at the same time making her startled. She quickly greeted him who chuckled and flicked at her forehead. He was an old man in his fifties.

"Star, how are you?"

"Happy, like always." She smiled brightly and held the crescent in the chain which was hanging around her neck. It was a habit since she got that chain.

"Oh, you found it." The old man nodded his head.

"Yeah, Johnson had it."

Johnson opened a flower shop few months ago near the cafe.

The old man patted her head.

"I sold the cafe. We are moving to the farm house."

Star nodded and smiled. The old man always wanted to shift to village with his wife. She was happy that he was able to make a decision about it.
