"Are you going out?" Cole called immediately I stepped out of the room. He was curled up on the sofa, a small blanket draped across his folded legs and a small sense of satisfaction filled my chest at the fact that he slept in an uncomfortable position.

"Yes, I am. I thought about what you said last night, and you are right. Like you, I also have the right to do whatever I want." I left the room and stepped out the door, not bothering to wait for a response.

When I reached the hotel lobby, I put on a pair of medicated glasses and glanced at my reflection as I stepped out. My usually free hair was tied tightly into a bun, giving my look a thicker shade of nerdy vibes.
