Chapter Thirteen: Wolfing Out

Stacie's POV

I felt a very sharp pain in my chest and I cringed.

The pain exploded in my head with blinding whiteness.

I tasted blood on my lips. It was painful, though nothing compared to the ache all over my body. It was as if the bones in my leg seemed to snap and shift from their position. The worst part was that I couldn't do anything. I couldn't even move. I just sat down on the floor, enduring all the pain.

"What was happening to me" I wondered, trying to communicate with my wolf to know whether she had any idea of what was going on in my body system.
