TIFFANY'S POV

She nodded and sang along to Alan Walker's “Faded,” as she drove into the estate street. She can't wait to get home and have a long nap.

Getting to the gate, the gate opened on its own, and she drove into the garage, parking properly before alighting.

Bag in hand, she headed to the front door, and as if on cue, James opened the door.

“ Welcome, Miss Dion. It's a good thing you are home on time. Your father is waiting for you in his study.” James said dutifully.

“ Waiting? That is strange. Thank you, James.” Tiffany said as she made her way to the study.

She got to the door and knocked.

“ Come in.” Her father's voice sounded from inside.

She opened the door, got inside and spotted him reclined on his large mahogany chair.

On seeing her, he sat up straight with a smile forming on his lips. “ Welcome, my girl.”

“ Good afternoon, Dad. James said you wanted to see me.” Tiffany said, confused about what was going on.
