Chapter 9 "Relationship Contract"

Jane’s POV

The next morning when I woke up, the space beside me was empty.

My naked body was wrapped with a blanket and I felt sore all over my body, especially down there. But that physical pain wasn’t comparable to the emotional pain I had after knowing that Eric left me alone on bed after we had s*x.

‘It was an accident.’

‘It was because of the alcohol.’

‘Perhaps, we can still be friends as long as we talk it out.’

I tried to be positive, thinking that there might be a reason why Eric left me on the bed after the night. But when I arrived at school, I was bombarded with surprising news.

“W-Who dropped out from school?” I asked my classmate, Marie, while blinking my eyes swiftly.

“It’s Eric. I heard that he dropped out of school.”

‘After everything that happened between us, Eric dropped out of school?’

Although I know it is best for us to forget the incident, I felt so wrong. Eric should have talked to me before going.
