May sat up, ready to receive another insult since that's how he's always looking at her. Everyday, she wonders if her father cares about her the slightest bit. At least her mother doesn't show hate all the time. But her father stopped paying her tuition and he's always yelling at her.

"What do you want? I don't think I have done anything wrong this time." She asked tiredly.

Dave walked into the room with a smile, this made May extremely suspicious. A smile? She can't remember the last time her father smiled at her like this? What could it be this time around?

"I am not here to scold you. Is anything wrong with me coming into my precious daughter's room?" He asked sitting beside her.

May almost choked on her breath. Her father was glaring at her when she came in not too long ago. Now he is treating her like his 'precious daughter'? When did she become that?

"I don't know what you are talking about. You never come into my room unless Debra is here seeking attention." May replied blun
