Chapter 4: Vulnerable Moments

Alessandra could feel the tension in the room and decided to break the silence.

"What do you want to wear to sleep in?" she asked Mia.

"T-shirt and shorts," Mia replied.

Alessandra got a t-shirt and shorts and gave them to Mia. "Here, I'll just take a shower," she said as she headed to the bathroom.

After a few minutes, Alessandra emerged from the bathroom with wet hair, looking even more stunning than before. Mia couldn't help but stare for a second. Alessandra caught her gaze and smiled.

"Do you prefer to sleep alone?" Mia asked.

Alessandra shook her head. "No, I prefer not to sleep alone," she said with a chuckle.

Mia laughed too and said, "So the big bad CEO is afraid of the dark, huh?"

As they got into bed, there was a lot of distance between them. Alessandra suddenly grabbed Mia and pulled her closer.

"Here, come closer," she said, back hugging Mia. "Don't worry, nothing will happen tonight.

Mia felt Alessandra's warm breath on her neck and her heart started racing. She couldn't believe how attracted she was to this woman who had just bid on her. Then, she relaxed into Alessandra's embrace, feeling safe and secure. As they drifted off to sleep, Mia couldn't help but feel grateful for this unexpected connection with Alessandra. She didn't know where it would lead, but for now, she was content to just be in the moment.
