1_ Stepmother hatred.

It had been half a year since Olima Adams tragically lost her parents, and she found herself residing with her stepmother and stepsister in the aftermath.

Just when she thought her life couldn't get any worse, her stepmother cruelly forced her into a life of servitude and denied her the opportunity to pursue her education.

Mr Leo Adams and Mrs Zoe Elliott were joined in matrimony 17 years ago, and they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl named Olima Adams, whose eyes sparkled with a mesmerizing shade of brown.

However, after Olima was born, Mrs. Zoe experienced complications.

Mrs. Zoe expressed her desire to expand their family, while her husband reassured her that his love for her remained unwavering.

After two years, Mr. Leo had a conversation with his wife about his desire to marry a second wife in order to have a son, as their first child, Olima, was a girl. In order for his son to carry on his name and also inherit his properties.

Mrs. Zoe became concerned about the possibility of another woman entering her marriage and causing her husband to lose interest in her. She confided in her close friend, Gina Edwards, seeking her support and understanding.

Gina and Zoe were inseparable as kids, always by each other's side. They both attended the same college and grew up in the same town.

Mrs. Zoe, a young woman with fair skin, had a conversation with her close friend Gina Edwards about her decision to marry Mr. Leo.

She pleaded, "Gina, I'm begging you, could you please consider accepting and marrying my husband? He believes it's crucial to have a son who can inherit his properties and carry on his name once we're gone."

Gina Edwards, a 25-year-old woman with a light complexion, quickly agreed to marry Mr. Leo Adams.

Mrs Gina, despite their long-standing friendship, couldn't help but feel envious of Mrs Zoe's marriage. She confessed to Mrs Zoe, "I have decided to marry Mr Leo."

Mrs. Zoe was completely unaware of Gina's hidden envy towards her marriage. Little did she know that Gina also harbored a secret admiration for Mr. Leo. Whenever Gina would visit Mrs. Zoe's home to see Olima, these complex emotions would silently play out.

Once Mr. Leo and Mrs. Gina were married, she moved into the white villa to join him. However, on her very first day there, Mrs. Gina underwent a noticeable transformation. She insisted that Mrs. Zoe be removed from the master's bedroom, as Mrs. Gina believed that as the new wife, she would be able to provide Mr. Leo with more children, unlike Mrs. Zoe.

At the tender age of two, Olima's father made it official and married Mrs. Gina.

Mr. Leo was taken aback by Mrs. Gina's sudden change in attitude. He confronted her, saying, "I can't believe you just moved into my mansion today and now you're picking a fight with your best friend Zoe?" So, Zoe and you were supposed to be best friends? Did you honestly believe that I agreed to marry you out of love? If Zoe hadn't mentioned you to me, do you honestly think I would have any interest in you? Prepare yourself to sign the divorce papers tomorrow and vacate my residence! Since Olima is my daughter, she will inherit all my properties, even if she grows up and decides to marry someone, resulting in a change of her surname to her husband's. Olima will always be my daughter."

Mrs Gina was taken aback when she realized just how deeply Mr Leo cared for Mrs Zoe. And she returned to being the good friend she was before to Mrs. Zoe. As she knelt before Mrs. Zoe, desperately pleading for her help in convincing their husband not to go through with the divorce.

Mrs Zoe, a compassionate woman, carried the weight of responsibility on her shoulders. She was the one who had pleaded with Mrs. Gina to agree to marry Mr. Leo.

Mrs. Zoe mustered up the courage to approach Mr. Leo and pleaded with him to reconsider sending Mrs. Gina away, especially after their recent marriage.

After some reflection, Mr. Leo decided to allow Mrs. Gina to stay with them. However, he made it clear that she would have her own separate bedroom and warned her against causing any further conflicts. Otherwise! He would have no qualms about tossing her out.

Mrs. Gina realized that her hopes of being with Mr. Leo were shattered when he chose to leave her instead of Zoe.

Mrs. Gina found herself in the new room that had been assigned to her, only to have her wedding night ruined by Mr. Leo. He not only neglected to touch her that night, but also refused to see her altogether.

After enduring weeks of shame and the fear of being labeled barren, Mrs. Gina found herself in Mrs. Zoe's bedroom one day. With desperation in her voice, she pleaded with Mrs. Zoe to intervene on her behalf, urging her to convince their husband not to divorce her and to fulfill his marital duties, just as he should.

Mrs Zoe was fully aware that she was to blame. She was filled with fear at the thought of another woman entering her home and potentially winning over her husband. She reluctantly agreed to have a conversation with Mr. Leo.

When Mr Leo arrived that night and after their dinner ended, Mrs Zoe coldly rejected her husband's advances, directing him to Mrs Gina's bedroom instead.

And instructed him, "It's time to stop avoiding Mrs. Gina in this house. Please go to her room and fulfill your marital duties."

Mr Leo could sense the anguish reflected in Mrs Zoe's gaze. As her words failed to penetrate her heart, he eventually departed for Mrs. Gina's bedroom and engaged in a passionate encounter with her that night...

Mrs. Zoe sobbed quietly on her bed, feeling utterly helpless, until exhaustion finally overcame her and she succumbed to sleep.

Despite Mrs. Gina's desire for continued intimacy, Mr. Leo firmly declined, stating, "I cannot engage in nightly encounters with you. Just a single night is all it takes to conceive a child."

Mrs Gina became frustrated and, once Mr Leo had left for work that day, she engaged in a heated argument with Mrs Zoe, even going so far as to label Zoe as a malicious individual.

She criticized Mrs. Zoe for being a poor friend and accused Zoe of preventing Mr. Leo from loving her as well.

After Mrs. Zoe informed Mr. Leo about the argument upon his arrival, he became quite upset. The next day, Mr. Leo brought home the divorce papers and demanded that Mrs. Gina sign them and vacate his house.

However, Mrs. Gina firmly declined and informed Mr. Leo, "I am pregnant."

Mr Leo made the decision to let Mrs Gina stay with them, despite the fact that she was carrying his child.

After eight months of nurturing the baby within her. Mrs Gina has recently welcomed a baby girl, which unfortunately shattered Mr Leo's hopes as he had anticipated the arrival of a baby boy.

Mrs. Gina was filled with joy as she embraced her new role as a mother, bestowing the name "Mia Adams" upon her precious daughter.

Mrs Gina longed for Mr Leo's touch, yearning for the chance to conceive a child with him. However, Mr Leo continued to keep his distance, having sent her to reside in the guesthouse.

After 14 long years, Mr. Leo never laid a hand on Mrs. Gina again.

Mrs Gina is fully aware that she cannot engage in deceitful behavior with Mr Leo, such as getting pregnant with another man's child. She resolved to eliminate Mr. Leo and his wife, taking control of his wealth and oil company for herself.

Mrs Gina grew weary of witnessing Mr Leo and Mrs Zoe's constant displays of affection, while Mr Leo consistently avoided her and declined any gifts she offered.

As time went on, Mrs. Gina's longing for Mr. Leo's affection grew stronger. She was convinced that Mr. Leo would never reciprocate her feelings, so she conspired with a truck driver to cause a collision involving Mr. Leo and Mrs. Zoe's car.

She was aware of their plans to attend the graduation ceremony at Lemon Hill High School for Olima and Mia.

She was also attending the school for her own daughter's graduation. As Mia entered her senior class, Olima was graduating as the top student in her class.

Mrs. Gina attended the graduation ceremony by herself, capturing precious moments with her daughter, while Olima anxiously awaited the arrival of her parents, only to be left disappointed.

Later in the evening, when Olima finally arrived home, she was taken aback by the news of her parents' absence. Tears streamed down her face, for she was all too aware of her stepmother's intense disdain for her.

She also desired to venture beyond the confines of her home, yet she found herself without any viable destinations.

Olima eagerly anticipated the arrival of her uncles. When her uncles arrived, they seemed quite interested in discussing the oil company, various documents, and even the mansion with Mrs. Gina.

It had been just three months since her parents' burial ceremony concluded. And Mrs Gina promptly took action and apprehended all her in-laws.

She made a serious allegation against them, suggesting that they were responsible for the deaths of Mr. Leo and his wife, with the motive of inheriting all of Mr. Leo's wealth.

Mr. Leo's two brothers reluctantly agreed to sign an agreement promising to never bother Mrs. Gina again. With heavy hearts, they bid their farewells and disappeared from her life forever.

No one inquired about Olima once more, and Mrs. Gina relocated to the main mansion that Mr. Leo had previously expelled her from. And she discarded all of Mrs. Zoe's belongings.

She decided to burn it outside, unable to bear the sight of all the beautiful portraits and images of Late Mrs. Zoe hanging on the living room walls.

She adorned the bare walls with her personal collection of photographs. She also left Mr. Leo's images on the wall.

Mrs. Gina made the decision to let go of all five housemaids, including the cook, and instead chose to have Olima serve as her new housemaid.

She said to Olima, "You witnessed firsthand how your father treated me and Mia while he was still alive. Unfortunately, there are no funds available for you to pursue further education. So you'll need to continue as my maid, assisting in the upkeep of this house that your parents left behind. Unfortunately, we are unable to sell it in order to sponsor your education. It would be quite heartless of you to sell the only property we call home without having seen the will or found another house..."

Olima was completely helpless. Just when she thought her life couldn't get any worse, her stepmother cruelly stripped her of her tutorial classes and forced her into a life of servitude.

She had no choice but to acquire cooking skills.

How to efficiently clean dirty dishes and start the day early by tidying up the house.

She had the responsibility of tending to the garden, her mother's farm, and also trimming the flowers.

Olima wept, yet her tears proved insufficient to resolve the issue. As she observed, Mia returned to attending school. Despite her stepmother's discouraging words about the lack of funds, she remained determined to continue.

Mrs. Gina subsequently extended an invitation to the family lawyer to discuss the contents of the will left by the deceased Mr. Leo.

And when the lawyer showed up. He informed Mrs. Gina that the will is unalterable, and the will specifies that the oil company, which was inherited from Mr. Leo Adams, should be transferred to Olima Adams. However, it was only after Olima had reached the age of 24.

Mrs. Gina grew increasingly frustrated and dismissed the lawyer, her mind consumed with thoughts of how she could take control of the oil company and all the other businesses that once belonged to the late Mr. Leo Adams.
