"I'm sorry to hear that, Eli. So, you're going home to Clara's condo now?" he asked and I immediately shook my head.

"Not yet because I'll be alone there. Maybe I'll just go to the grill and club first," I answered then shrugged my shoulders.

"No, Eli. I know you're upset with your mother right now, but going to the club is not a solution, especially when you're alone," he told me.

I didn't speak immediately because he was right. We just had a drink last night and I feel like the alcohol I drank is still in my stomach so I don't want to drink but I don't know where else to go now.

"How about coming with me? To the place, I always go when I'm stressed. No one goes there and I'm sure you'll enjoy the view especially since it's late," he said again while smiling at me.
