Laney listened intently as Brianna began to unravel the story.

Her heart ached as she heard how the Omega explained about someone who broke into the restroom that night, which led to her pregnancy, and her parents' were furious and ashamed that they kept her locked for months.

Laney can even feel her blood boiling when she knows how Brianna's parents even took all her money, including her house, by claiming her as a missing person, and how Brianna finally had enough and decided to run when overheard her parents talking about aborting the baby by accident.
